Travel to Woking YMCA’s Ypod youth centre
Chobham Road, Woking, Surrey, GU21 6JD - 01483 757160
By car
Take the A320 from Guildford or Junction 11 on the M25 and follow the signs to Victoria Way multi storey car park (next to the Holiday Inn hotel – see map below).
When you have parked, exit on the ground floor (directly opposite the H.G. Wells centre). Turn right up Church Street East. Then take the first right on to Chobham Road (opposite a statue of a Martian from War of the Worlds).
Woking YMCA is at the end of this road on the right, past a parade of shops. You will see an illuminated sign saying ‘Ypod’ above the entrance. At the entrance go straight up the stairs to the first floor to the reception desk, there will be volunteers from Woking YMCA on hand to greet visitors.
By train
When you arrive at Woking station (bottom left on map below), leave by the exit to the High Street. Follow signs to the Peacock shopping centre (marked Shop Cen on the map). Leave the main shopping square on to Church Street (past Christ Church on the right). Take the second left down Chobham Road (opposite a statue of a Martian from War of the Worlds).

I would like to volunteer but I don’t have much time?
That’s fine. We have some volunteers who give quite a few hours every week and some that only come in for special events. We are keen to hear from anyone who would like to join our team regardless of how much time you have to give. My son/daughter would like to come to the Ypod, what have you got going on?
