Woking YMCA - Recording Studio hire
  
Through our Woking YMCA music programme we aim to help musicians develop their skills and confidence by providing them with opportunities which they might not otherwise have access to, or be able to afford.
Our recording studio is free for young people (under 18) to use within our YMCA specific youth programme (see young people's site for more details). If you're over 18 it is £26 per hour with a technician, or £15.60 per hour if you don't need one. Extra hours, at a lower rate, may be required for the technician to finish mixing, engineering and producing your tracks.
We use Logic Pro 7 software on an Apple PowerMac G5 Computer with a Mackie 1642 VZL Pro Mixing desk, Yamaha HS 80 M monitor speakers, a Motu 828 Mkll audio interface and a Roland V20 RS PCM Synthesizer.
We have a selection of Shure microphones (including SM58, SM57 and SE2200) and cables and stands. We can also provide a skeleton Mapex "Rock" drum kit, a Marshall AVT 275 Combo guitar amp and an Ashdown MAG C115-300 bass amp if required.

Ytunes studio ready for action
The studio will now be available for recording on Thursday afternoons from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.
Jack (our new studio technician) is going to be in the studio every Thursday night when we have a band booked.
